"GET UP AND DO SOMETHING” VIDEO CONTEST RULES & REGULATIONSAll Delaware students (public, private or home schools), in grades 6 through 12 are eligible to participate in the “Get Up And Do Something” video contest. The contest is soliciting 30-second video commercials that promote physical activity OR healthy eating among kids and/or their families. Students can submit up to two entries that meet the contest criteria. Entries that meet the criteria will be uploaded onto the website www.getupanddosomething.org and will be part of a statewide voting contest. Students across the state can vote for their favorite ad(s) as many times as they wish with a limit of one vote per day. Student(s) with entries that receive the most votes and are favorably reviewed by an expert panel will receive a prize and be considered for possible airing in the Delaware Division of Public Health’s “Get Up And Do Something” campaign. All entries are subject to review by an expert panel for content and appropriateness prior to uploading onto the campaign website, and eventual voting. Contest Criteria
Contest TimelineWinning video(s) may be modified or enhanced for inclusion in the “Get Up And Do Something” campaign, but credit will be attributed to the student(s) who created the ad. Submit Entries and Address All Questions To: |
