Cinnamon apple infused water is a fun fall way to spice it up. Cinnamon has many health benefits including regulating blood sugar. Drink this in the morning to normalize your glucose levels and cut sugar cravings throughout the day. The pectin in the apple will also help to see a healthy digestive system, and promote a feeling of fullness. These qualities make this a great component for weight loss as well. You can also boil the water and make a nice warm drink for a crisp fall day!
Add a cucumber and mint combination for a cool refresher on a warm day or after a workout. Cucumbers are made up of almost 100% of water, having great hydrating qualities. If you plan to drink this after a workout it’s great as an anti-inflammatory as well.
Load up with fruit full of antioxidants and vitamin c. Oranges and kiwis are two foods fully loaded with vitamin c. Throw in this combination for a refreshing and immune-boosting mix. Strawberries can be added to the mix as well as they are also a great source of vitamin c, and add great flavor.
Not only do the ingredients in these different mixes have tons of health benefits, but there are a wide variety of mixes and matches that can be done with them and many others. Grab a pitcher or water bottle and load it up with a new and refreshing infused water mixture!
